They're CFC wide arches from CarBenFibre Creations. They were trimmed down slightly as Scott thought they were too much. I think he's got a good eye, as I prefer them a little narrower

The rears have 10mm spacers on, to ensure there's plenty of clearance between them and the struts

Great stuff I tried dropping my twins at the rear to match the fronts and they rubbed like hell I have 9x17 rear with et38 with 235/40/17 tyre all I can think of doing is spacing them cutting the arches so it can be dropped

Yeah, depending on the offset I think most people need a small spacer to overcome such issues.

I'd prefer to not need a spacer but unless I replace the wheels I'm stuck with them

You could always use small hubcentric ones mates
I think that hubcentric spacers start at 15mm which should give you the space you need to prevent rubbing...

Ahh, can't you just feel spring in the air. To be honest it's chipper out there I can't feel anything At least this week I get to stay and be cold in the UK, so I'll mostly be cracking on with making some templates for the new arch liners.

As we have cardboard in abundance at work I'll be using some reasonably heavy stuff to mock up the hole positions etc, then when I'm happy with it I'll translate that onto some ali sheeting. Still not sure on the design to use really, mainly surrounding how it meets the old outer arches etc

Sounds like a plan- with that sort of fabrication you often work it out once you've given it a couple of attempts first...that's how it works for me anyhow

My plan was basically it follow the contours of the arch, but as low profile as possible and completely sealed off front the space behind the bumper.

Well, time has passed and little has been achieved again Work's been pretty flat out, plus time away and even a successful attack of the germs

I was planning on jacking up the car and identifying the true cause of the minor oil leak I have. The jack however had other ideas, broke and is now basically a heavy and useless rollerskate I suspect it's the valve but it's a massive PITA, as the ramps I have don't really work with a car so low

I have managed to take the front arch liner off again and checked to see if there's any rubbing on full lock. The good news is it doesn't even come close now, which is a big relief I've got some cardboard to mock up the customer liners, which I'm hoping to do over the next few days. Once I can jack the car up again anyway...

Left the car running for about 20 minutes, just to check everything was working as it should. Oil pressures are spot on however the oil temps are low. In fact oil temps as a whole seem low to me, although I've only checked today when idling and when on a jolly run when it was bitter out. Temps after 20 mins are around 65-70 degrees, but that's without the car moving. Not sure if that's something I need to look at though
