Not quite 500bhp which was the aim, but a more than reasonable result.

Probably the highest powered stock 3SGTE in the world right now.

If you know of higher, let me know so I can go for more.

It was a busy day on the dyno, so left it nice and safe with plenty in reserve with regards to fueling

(~11.5:1) and timing.

How long the stock ringlands last at this power is the interesting thing now.

Will the cylinder temps kill them? Only issue was with the clutch, which is an unknown make

& torque rating.

Was slipping slightly which dropped the torque on a couple of runs.

Wasn't too bad once it had been left to cool for a while.

Went from 1.4 bar and 330bhp mapped at Santa Pod to 2.2 bar and 487bhp.

As per usual with the 3SGTE, fueling is the key, I picked up a whopping 30bhp just by leaning it out to 11.5:1 AFR top end.

If I was to take it to 12.2:1, it would probably surpass 500bhp.

I have always said that people vastly underestimate the 3SGTE in the UK

(exactly the same as the VG30DETT in the 300zx).

This is the highest specific output of a car I have ever attained, having just beat the 383bhp@hubs from a stock 1809cc CA18DET I mapped years ago.

Hopefully, this shows what can be achieved with bolt-ons and a proper map.

This is not a one-off dyno queen result, it is mapped with reliability in mind as it is my only drag car for the upcoming season.

It has been running up to 1.5 bar

& 12.3s quarter miles ALL last season as well.

Now all it has to do is get the numbers up the strip at 2.2 bar without spitting it's dummy

(conrod) out.

My camera ran out having been videotaping the customer's cars, so will upload vids for more proof once I rip them from my friend's phone.

Apologies for the blurry pics, will get a printout tomorrow and take a high-res picture.

I have enhanced the sharpness on a couple of the pics, just in case anyone thinks I'm pulling a
