Having spoken to Japfest I need to book the plot and stand passes all at once

The cost is only £20 and I will ensure that I sort out recorded postage to you etc....

The aim is for 15 members to go so please sign up below. The quicker we can get ourselves sorted and booked the better plot we will have

I will ask for payment into the imoc account in around 3 weeks I think if all goes well

When I have confirmed numbers and the imoc payment details then yes - we all pay imoc directly and the club will then send a cheque out to Japfest to pay for the tickets and plot

Once I have a confirmed paypal payment address I will post it up and people can pay when they want prior to booking

Each ticket inclusive of stand pass is £20

Please make payments to [email protected]

Ensure that in the PayPal payment you mention your user name and if possible put the title of the transaction as Japfest

I'm going to be making payment for my ticket tomorrow once I've confirmed that I have the day off from work

Mods will check the PayPal account daily and update against the users going who has paid for tickets and who hasn't

Any questions just ask
Get signing up and paying people

Thats great as that makes 8 of us already.
Ive spoken to Conan and he is also going to sign upso thats 9

Just to clarify as tickets are £20 it either needs to be sent to the club as a gift via paypal or with yourselves picking up the charge. Imoc cant really cover 5% of ever ticket bought lol

Seems to be coming along well

MR2OC don't have anyone to organise their visit to Japfest yet so I've proposed a joint stand. I don't know how that sits with people on here...

The way I see it - it's a good sign of unity toward the marque and the two clubs very rarely intermingle. It's a chance for us to get to know new faces and new cars. Plus the more cars we have the better a plot we will have (and the atmosphere should be a little better

)

I can't see any negatives personally

Spoken to Japfest and they are happy for a joint booking. I've also managed to sell it that if we do that we will have more cars and therefore should be in a better plot. I've specifically asked not to be in the same plot as the last two years and they are going to sort something out

Also confirmed and the payment/booking needs to be with them by the end of feb which means I have a month to accept names/payments until I cphave to collate it all and send it off

So get paying

I am up for going. What do i do about bringing a passenger along? Do i pay through IMOC or would they have to buy their own ticket through the Japfest site?

Up to 3 passengers travel for free on a stand pass now so they dont have to buy seperate tickets

Not true... you forgot about rope... plenty of places to tie people (especially kids, added benefit of bugs for lunch)... then there's the Boot and Froot... I'm sure you could stuff someone in there. Probably get in without even being noticed too.
