Bit of a contrast in vehicle choices there

When mine goes it will be replaced by a bike. When that happens is yet to be decided.

Sorry to see you're looking to sell it buddy, it's a cracking car.

Decided to go with the camper van then, or just run out of brave pills when driving it? :) I'll be interested to see what kind of money it gets to, as it's food for thought.

Good luck with the sale, if you do go through with it :thumleft:

:(

Looks like you're going to have a lot of bids to cancel if you don't wanna sell it! Why didn't you set a reserve? :-k

Because it cost me 76p to advertise it and al just end it if it don't sell for enough. Or pay £156 for add with a 6.5k reserve. eBay used to be cheap!! To be fair if I don't get enough interest it will stay where it is and al keep it. Mr Banned trader is coming to look at it tomorrow haha

Ebay charges are a joke these days. I only really use it for buying.

Cheers magic. And I'm already thinking in I might just keep it haha. It's a hard thing 2 part with. I still do fancy a camper van. But there a bloody fortune for the 1's I have been looking at :0(

Still big money in the VW scene. A friend of mine has been looking at buying a classic Beetle and they go for far more than your average MR2 these days.

What kind of money were you hoping to get for the '2, if you sell it? Seems these days that you need to find someone who loves the car and is willing to shell out the money it's worth. I'm thinking mine might be up for sale later in the year :-$

Near as I can get to 7k matey. I think it's easily worth that. I'd bit it and Probly get closer to 9k but I just carnt be bothered with that. I have a fair few parts on there that are none mr2 specific. I would Probly get close to 2k for those. The exhaust manifold is as rare as hens teeth also. I think somebody will appreciate what it's got on it and how nice a car it is. But like you say mate things are hard to sell these days. If the car doesent sell I will keep it and remap it. See how much I can squeeze out of it haha.

Sounds like a fair price to me. The only negative would be that people want something for nothing these days. These people need to put their hands in their pockets and pay to build one of these things. They'll soon appreciate just how much they're actually worth [-X

Ya not wrong matey. It's scary I have receipts for over 10k for parts just for engine. That's inc ecu/turbo/head/manifolds/clutch obv. Then you have all other mods like suspension, arb's and strut braces. All bought new from fensport. But people just see a 14yr old mr2 :0(. The cars is a testament to Simon at YVS performance who built it. Mechanically it's spot on, in almost 2 years I have never topped any fluids up on this car. (Apart from when I have changed then). When I talk about it makes me wonder what am I doing considering selling it haha

I don`t think your helping your sale listing it in car parts .
It doesn``t come up when you search for mr2 turbo in cars so your listing is lost in 1300 listing which is 46 pages of bits.
Classified adds are the cheapest way to list it at a fixed price that will come up in the search better ;)

That's true but it's only way I could do it on my phone. Someone is coming to look at it later today. If you just search mr2 turbo on home page it pops up.
