SSP arived friday at benfields wakefield £2 :D bargain, to be fair it's basically just a nut with the right thread but it certainly makes the job easy, once I'd tensioned the handbrake plunger mech and removed the circlip the whole thing pulls out at this point I can remove the handbrake lever which is pretty tight and full of gunk but after a good clean it's all back together and working like new, result for anyone thinking about renovating their calipers get the special tool it's not wirth trying to do it without, so I'm now happy that the brakes are up to MOT standards, the fronts have been stripped cleaned and reassembled (no pads necessary) the rears have been stripped cleaned and reassembled with new pads and seals etc, handbrake as been adjusted so everything is tip top now, just needs some wipers and it's ready for it's test, I had intended getting it in this week but we're off to the Manx GP next week so I'll probably wait till we get back and get it MOT'd first week in Sept.
