hi could you help with the ht leads, took them off to change am i right in saying that from the fireing order 1342 on a rev3, does no1 go to no1 on the cap and so on, thanks, na rev3

Odd that no one else has piped up on this one.

Yes cylinder 1 is nearest the timing belt. Then next cylinder is #2 then # 3 with the cylinder nearest the gearbox being cylinder #4. The leads then go on the dizzy cap with the corresponding number.

ok, so thats the lead order, but the fireing order is 1342 so im told,
so lead 1 will go to 1 on cap, 3 will go to2, 4 to 3, 2 to 4,
i think thats right

Distributor cap makes it easy for you. Plug numbers are moulded into cap.

Plug lead 1 into no. 1
Plug lead 2 into no. 2
Plug lead 3 into no. 3
Plug lead 4 into no. 4.
