Exhaust Gaskets
Went to fit my exhaust gaskets this morning and they don't fit over the bores of my janspeed downpipe
- anyone had this issue before?

Re: Exhaust Gaskets
Mine are a tight fit but i just bash them on with the palm of my hand, never had any problems with them not sealing.
How much to small are they?

The O/D of the pipes are about 1mm too big

Mine were a very tight fit too, dont use any exhaust putty either as it just breaks up after time and leaks,

Re: Exhaust Gaskets
What is the I/D of an exhaust gasket? I'll see if I can source a slightly larger one.

The metal kept on almost falling apart when I was trying to force mine on.
Wouldn't even go on with a hammer.

Re: Exhaust Gaskets
The gaskets I had came from a head gasket kit so they were not from Toyota.

I might be able to get a Motorbike gasket

Re: Exhaust Gaskets
If you measure the ID
& OD you should be able to get one from an autofactors.

My local Camberley Autofactors used to have buckets of them
(literally).
