Discussion and technical advice the SW20 MR2. 3S-GTE, 3S-GE, 3S-FE etc
Anything and everything to do with maintenance, modifications and electrical is in here for the Mk2.
Hi Karl, I was looking at this the other week. I think it was www.Motorsportworld.co.uk that were doing HEL brake lines for about £51 if I remember correctly.
Let me know if you find them anywhere cheaper as I need to do mine soon too.
Cheers, Michael.
Apologies Karl, thats not where I meant.
Its www.awesome-gti.co.uk that do HEL brake lines for the MR2 at £51.73
Hope that helps mate. I think they also do the cheapest Koni kit for suspension too, just for reference.
Cheers, Michael.

Hi bud,
Thanks for the links, there are some interesting bits on those sites.
With vat the lines in the second website come in at £62.08, so a little over budget
I'll do some more research and update you
Cheers
Bob Hatton on here can get you Goodridge at a decent price, think mine were £80 odd, well worth it as they come with all the correct fittings, some of the others need brackets making up for the rear. Give Bob a PM...

Riot is correct, HEL don't come with the rear brackets but it's not a show stopper and they can even be cable tied if you wanted.
Saying that Karl, I have HEL brake lines that I got in a group buy in the OC and I can't fault them.
Goodridge do not build hoses to be cheap, they make them to be the best so you get what you pay for.£97.16 for a SW20 set deliverd with life time warranty.
No I did not put turbos on F1 cars, I developed a system to give them anti lag.

I think £97.16 for that is a deal when you think about it, brakes are important and you want to trust your parts.
I'm looking to get some myself for my green rev 3
I saw these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270925338952? ... 1438.l2649
but they looked fake and I've not seen them before, which leads me back to trusting the parts on your car
Keeping it "in-house" is the way forward, my view is...if we support each other in all our projects and services rendered, it just adds to the validity of the club in general and makes it a safer and more pleasurable experience for everyone who joins.
Damn, I forgot to put something like that too, was a factor in me getting mine that they were good value and through another member, helps the club and the scene and I had faith I would get the correct and best stuff...
I have been using Goodridge hose and fittings from back in the late 70s when I started making my nitrous oxide systems, the first person to make and sell N2O in this country.
Most of the F1 teams use the light weight hose but at over £100 a meter none will be found on my MR2
