Hi everyone,
I am looking for number 001 of 250 of the 10th Anniversary MR2, if this is spotted or if anyone knows the location I would very much appreciate it.
Thank you.
Wayne

Not quite but may be of interest though over priced. This one is 007 with full service history. Am tempted but not at that price

Re: Looking for 001 10th Anniversary
I am pretty sure the car in the Toyota anniversary brochure starts at 002, I can check and let you know. I was guessing that 001 is in a Toyota musem or something??
Re: Looking for 001 10th Anniversary
Yeah I wondered this on the brochure it does start with 002. I will keep asking too.
How's the build going by the way.

Mr Bond indeed...fun number! Yea, GT...you are probably right about 001. Someone will enlighten us eventually. I have number 041 in Silver by the way. Oh, always on the lookout for an original cd/radio in case you hear of one. Perhaps the alloys too.

Try dropping "captain_codpiece" a line, he was breaking one so might have the bits you need?

Thanks GT...searched but can't find him here (maybe I have missed something!). Does he run 'mr2-bits.com'?

That's right mate, he has a couple listed in the breakers section.

Yup, had a bumper and dash off him and just missed the wheels and cd
Re: Looking for 001 10th Anniversary
Well, I tweeted Toyota_Europe to find out if 001 is out on the road somewhere or tucked up at Mr.T... they passed it onto ToyotaGB (seems Toyota have a twitter for pretty much every country!). I'll post here with the answer!

All they could tell me is that 001 was sold to someone. So, it could still be out there, it could have been written off years ago, who knows! They can't tell me any more than that, for understandable reasons.

Thats a bit of a pain - could they at least tell you what number plate it was on?

Definitely not. They would be in breach of the Data Protection Act.
Re: Looking for 001 10th Anniversary
As above. I might be able to find out if it was blue or silver, but that would be about it I reckon!
