[Mk2] [Turbo] Upping the fuel if upping the boost?
Hi All, Would i need to up the fuel or anything if i up the boost to 1.1 on my Rev 3 turbo? i dont want it running lean and melt me pistons lol
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Upping the fuel if upping the boost?
Rev3 turbo ECU has inbuilt maps for 1.1bar, and runs massively rich at the top end
(AFR
<10) for protection.
I wouldn't worry about running lean.

Excellent, im in the process of installing a intercooler and ebc.

You can still get detonation, but you won't run out of fuel.
There is enough fuel for around 330rwhp on a gen3 3sgte.

You must use the top grade of fuel, 99 octain all the time and to be safe I would set you timing to 8 deg

97 will be fine, although 99 is better.

It isn't

the standard fuel pressure regulator is a 1:1 rising rate one.

so if it senses 1psi more boost, itll increase fuel pressure by 1psi also.

pretty handy
