They don't include the wheel arch, mate.There's just a rib in the wheelarch, and these deflectors follow that contour so that they seal against the arch.

*are* basic things, but to try and knock something up from scratch that would look reasonably ok would be a false economy IMHO.

You've got to wonder whether the time spent is actually worth less than just buying them.Normally, that's how I personally compare prices on things that I could make myself.
I look at the price, look at how many hours it would cost me to make one, and if the cost to buy the thing ready is considerably cheaper than my time to make it I just go ahead and buy it!
