Yep, great cars, I've had 3, my Fiance has had 6! So, we know MR2s!
They are getting rarer I think as more continue to rust away!

According to website how many left there are only about two hundred currently taxed on c and d plates!

This was talked about a while ago, I thought there were nearly 2000 MK1's overall, so not quite that rare yet!
C plates will be rarer and B plates rarer still.
