Turbo going on is a Greddy TD05 with ATS External Wastegate kit

Got the car up in the air safely with stands, bricks under the wheels and jacks left under

Ready to start the mission, just looking at the limited space puts you off.

Air intake pipe work removed and Charge cooler disconnected.

core tied up to save draining it

Manifold bolts soaked in WD40.

Oil filter removed and engine hanger bracket removed.

Old CT26 next to TD05

TD05 is off a Rev3 so the tubular manifold wont fit the Rev2 so re used the stock manifold.

Turbo fitted

Now the problem, Rev2 uses a M18 oil feed where as the rev3 uses an M12

Trying to find a Rev2 adaptor for the Greddy oil line is near impossible so gave in

Nathan from Century Motorsport suggest a converter to convert the oil feed hole so I made some plans up and went to a local machine shop and had one made.

Finished product with Rev3 banjo bolted on

Adaptor bolted onto engine with new Toyota gasket, also used thread tape for the perfect seal

Oil line bolted on

Turbo dropped in complete, external wastegate fitted and oil line connected up

Original heat shield cut to allow it to fit and painted

Charge cooler core back on and silicone hoses connected.

Air intake etc connected back up

X-Brace back on

Oil return line, Screamer pipe.

Changed plugs and put new ignition leads on while the core was off and did a oil and filter change also bled the coolant

Screamer pipe sounds amazing!!!

Overall it looks harder than it is.
