Yes mate,I saw you out of the corner of my eye and gave a quick wave,We'd been there since 10.30 and unfortunetly had to get back home, shame, would have loved to have had a chat and nose about your car

, sorry I didn't meet you guys.
The only people I knew where the ones we travelled down with.

IMOC was had a big stand but it was full of small groups.

We did have an exellent weekend, some of the cars on display were out of this world and th mk1 owners club were very friendly.

Sorry if this offends anyone but I was disappointed I couldn't put names and faces to people I had spoken to online.![]()

Maybe a meet and greet would be a good idea next year with a time that people will know when to be on the stand perhaps it would feel more like a club for everyone that is a member of the site.![]()
Just a suggestion

I now have a lovely selection of china dolls across my dash!
Think perhaps the imoc gazebo needs to be bigger, it was very crowded under there saturday night, and after 2 failed attempts at joining a circle of owners, I couldn't be bothered to try a third time.
It's nobody's fault, it was just unfortunate
Were the imoc t-shirts being sold at site or just on mail order from rogue?
Pity I couldn't have made it for the football, I'm sure I could have helped us beat the OAP's

No problem about going Andy, I knew you were meeting Ian anyway, but I was puzzled to see your car gone& the tent still there.
I can't believe you forgot it

tbh Ben, I'm glad I never helped out, because I don't think that my involvement would have made the stand any better.
I was there to enjoy my weekend, not feel like I was at work.![]()

No real info on activities or anything and the traders were a joke basically.
IMOC did well, we had a full stand on Sat

it wasn't this one was it?
http://www.megaboost.co.uk/supra/mine/j ... _3230.html
I noted a few familar cars on there but wasn't sure if it was IMOC or not?
I'm not keen on the new location, it lacked the intimacy of Billing and despite the promises of it being a safer more controlled environment all those roads seemed to encourage idiots to drive too fast.I also hear there was the usual assortment of thefts on the Saturday night
- banners and stuff again.

a real shame.
Anyway all my pics are here if anyone is bored:

axisofunity wrote:But the IMOC stand was a bit naff.
No one came over to chat either when me and my partner were walking around or when on Saturday we went over to the marquee.
Toni and the admins were friendly and so on, but without any events or club stuff, there was nothing really to hold IMOC together as a group.

I just get the feeling that I'd have fitted in more with the OC/ DC stand rather than IMOC which
(and maybe shoot me down for this) felt a bit groupy?
Anyway, what do I know, I'm only 21.

Think I kinda agree with some of this, could have done with something for everyone to, rather that forming seperate small groups

I arrived very late on saturday, and as such felt a bit left out to be honest

didn't feel you could contribute to the event and didn't join us on the IMOC stand

That comment is bang out of order.A FEW people made a big effort to have a stand at JAE and to be slapped in the face with comments like that .
.
Totally unnecessary and totally unconstructive.
Im glad the moderators have thicker skin than I do! If a few more people had made more of an effort maybe it would have been better.
Im not a moderator or anything but did help out setting up and packing up, so kind of feel involved.
