[Mk2] [Generic] Short shift kit

Hello. I've seen some short shift kits on ebay for £25 now i'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them and if they are any good over stock. I've a mk2 rev2 na. Cheers :)

yup, I have one and it works fine, shortens the throw and for £25 its a good cheap mod

Also could you send me the link to the one you bought???

And did you find the gear knob to low to use?
Have heard this is a common problem with some short shifters, that they are too low to use.

Whats yours like??

looks the same from the pic, you can screw the oem knob on yea :thumleft:

only thing be prepared to modfiy it as the gear change rods hit the gear stick, this is not a major problem as can be modified to fit most people i know who have had the ones from ebay have had to do the same, really no drama if you have a grinder or dremmel just make sure you re grease it aswell it can be a messy job but not hard at all , i done gear selector bearings at the same time real good mod to do together gear changes a lot more positive. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.
