hub nut size
what is the size of the castellated nut that fits on the rear hub? im trying the find a socket that fits it.

you will also need a deeper than standard socket

And do it with the wheel on and the car on the ground with blocks under the wheels


It may just be my crappy handbrake at the time but the torque needed to loosen the nut was greater than the handbrake could stop

They're meant to be torqued to 218ft/lb, so I would think that is easily enough to overcome some handbrakes.

the nut was actually a 30mm socket.
and its all torqued down and good to go now
