hub nut size

what is the size of the castellated nut that fits on the rear hub? im trying the find a socket that fits it.

you will also need a deeper than standard socket :thumleft:

And do it with the wheel on and the car on the ground with blocks under the wheels :lol:

It may just be my crappy handbrake at the time but the torque needed to loosen the nut was greater than the handbrake could stop :lol:

They're meant to be torqued to 218ft/lb, so I would think that is easily enough to overcome some handbrakes.

the nut was actually a 30mm socket. and its all torqued down and good to go now :)
