t-bar with a leak
has anyone else have the problem of leaking on drivers window and if so how did you resolve it.

All of these offer a solution to this problem, with differing costs.
I guess it depends on how badly deteriorated the weatherstrips are.

um vaseline eats the rubber

I just bought some new rubbers.
(ooh that sounds bad)

Got them from Ebay off a Rev5
- virtually brand new for about
£30.
Fixed my leaks completely.

I've used Vaseline for many years on a Mk1 without any problem, just requires regular application i.e.
perhaps twice a year.
