[Mk2] [Turbo] Berk Exhaust
Well i finally got one! From Juliankv73 Had to do some minor repairs to the exhaust, welded the support bracket on the cans, and removed all the rust from the flexi section re-plated it and sprayed it up in heat resistant paint to try prevent it from rusting again.. Re: Boost gauge
Think i've sorted it, removed my old bodge effort of wiring on the sender unit and actually soldered it all up properly this time.

Big difference! Actually works as intended now

Re: Boost gauge
I'll check my wiring 2moro, had this problem for ages and gave up in the end because i couldn't fix it, but I'm going to have another go!

Where is the best place to T into for the gauge?

If it's not my wiring is it easy to check for leaks?

Would a boost leak cause random readings on my boost gauge or is it my wiring?

Re: EMS Powered Boost Gauge - Issues
Just T-Pieced into the Map sensor, well i think it's the map sensor anyway, right side of the Inlet chamber
(looking at the engine bay)

Reset ambiance to zero, started her up and gauge is reading
-16/-18 PSI which i guess is normal?

EMS Powered Boost Gauge - Issues
After having this installed on my car for years, i'm still having issues and i can't put my finger on the problem. Constantly getting crazy readings, -35psi > +30psi. I've earthed all the connections together on the chassis, and even run an earth cable directly to the battery at the same point. Pret...

BoV not working
Rev 2 Turbo 205 charger cooler setup.
HKS ssq BoV, dug out the BoV from under my AFM and noticed the little tubing that goes to the inlet manifold has split, seems springy still inside the BoV.
Is it not working due to that split tube?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Best place to earth in the cockpit
Where would the best place be to earth my Boost gauge in the cockpit?

As i keep getting different readings, which is clearly just a dodgy earth.

[Mk2] [Generic] Oil in clutch system?...
My clutch felt slightly weird last week, so i finally get it checked out, as the reservoir was low. Simple flush and re-fill & bleed right? No, some idiot who serviced my clutch last has put engine oil in there? ](*,) So now the whole system is ruined, never going to get the oil out, they tried ...

Re: Water Temp Gauge Issue
I'm no mechanic but from other posts i have read, it sounds like your thermostat could be sticking, or as you say just opening up.
There is a thread on here on how to test it.
.
.
just need to search for it.
