[Mk2] [Turbo] Is the revision 2 NA rear bearing the same as on the revision 3 turbo?

My wheel bearing has gone so I need to get it replaced. My Grandad has a bearing from a rev 2 NA so I'm hoping this will fit on my rev 3 turbo.

Can anyone confirm that it will?

Cheers.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brakes sticking

I'm going to be buying a reconditioned caliper but as a temp fix for a week it was suggested that I could clamp the brake line leading to the affected caliper. This seemed like an idea so today I was going to give it a go but found that the brake lines appeared to be braided with a plastic coating. ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Brakes sticking

Hi guys. I have a problem with my brakes that I was hoping someone could shed some light on. Basically, my brakes are fine when I first get into my car but after driving for five to ten minutes and using the brakes I notice them starting to stick a little. After noticing the brakes starting stick sl...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Changing rear pads - brake fluid?

I'm going to attempt to change my rear pads today. This will be my first attempt at this job so I was wondering if it's a simple case of taking old pads out, screwing piston back in and replacing with new pads. Or is there any other things I should be aware of? For example, would I need to clamp the...

When you say sick looking, I guess you must mean you taste some in your mouth when you glance at it. Right?

Ugly MR2 is ugly... Give me a standard body'd rev3/4 any day.

Re: Air con regassing

Where exactly do you spray them into?

When you said £50 I thought 'meh', as Kwik Fit will do a re-gas for £49 but if you get £10 back if you hand in the bottle then it's good value.

Re: New Aeroware front lip fitted

Best lip for the MR2, indeed.

It adds just the right amount of depth to the front and doesn't look garish.

It needs to be done at 100,000km (about 60,000miles).

That looks really good! How are you finding the job? Is it straight forward enough? What glue are you using?

Re: MR2 bodywork

Looks really good! It's going to be a belter once it's out of the bodyshop :) I'm also interested to know how much it's costing. The paintwork on my MR2 has blemishes all over. You can't notice them unless you get close and really look for some but it bothers me so I'm planning on getting it tidied ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rear cluster looms the same for all revisions?

Yeah, I should have been more clear with my wording. It's specifically the bulb holder that I needed to know was the same across revisions.

Looks like I'm good to go then. I've found 2 looms which are at a much lower price than new :)

Cheers, Jaspa.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rear cluster looms the same for all revisions?

I'm looking at converting my revision 3 rear clusters to the quad light setup so that I don't need a separate fog light hanging below the bumper.

What I need to know is if the wiring looms for the revision 1 and 2 are the same as what is found on the revision 3?

Cheers.

For your information, assuming the speedo hasn't been converted to mph, the mileage is actually 67,000 miles :)

Good luck with the sale.

Re: Ferrari replicas? WHY?

I agree. It's a bit of a poncy thing to do tbh... I'd feel like a right ninny driving around in one. I once heard someone who owned a 355 replica MR2 say that because the body is made of fibreglass it weighs a lot less so it really shifts... But it costs upwards of £15k to do, just imagine what can ...

Re: Dead Space....

Yeah its really creepy. Usually in games like this I would have quit by now because I'm a wuss but this is too good to miss so I'm being a man about it :P I could feel my heart thumping while going around the first chapter and I was on edge all of the time but I am more chilled about it now. Sort of...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Electric Aerial Question

This happened to me so I just wired a locking push to make switch up and put it in one of the empty spaces near the fog switch.
