[Mk2] [NA] conking out when warm

Ive just had a new distributor cap and rotor arm fitted and now when the car is warm out of the blue it just stops and restarts refires five minuits later.

Help please #-o #-o

Thanks for replys. i have been doing exactly that limping around with the heater on. What bits do i need to unplug to keep the fans going?? If it was the thermostat would i still get warm air?? as its hot most of time but sometimes goes cool until i rev it to bring the fluid round i presume. As for ...

Yes it can be done as thats what I did to mine,leak was where the bracket was bolted to the tunnel,cut it just below (pig of a job,dremel wiggle,swear a lot). Got one jubilee clip on and connected up,Has not leaked one bit in a couple of thousand miles and bleeding was a normal job as pipe follows ...

Have got a G ltd Mrk2 rev1. Ive been losing water so took it to a local tyre company to find out where from. Apparently its right in the middle of the car landing on the plastic tray. Someone could get a bargain for the right price.

Make me an offer as its good for going a lot quicker and deseves more use.

The Turbo is still on wastegate pressure and can put out a lot more boost.
