Well, this has moved on somewhat in the past few days.. after digging out the bill of sale I'd kept filed for 8 years, then doing a little internet sleuthing, I got in touch with the couple who bought it from me! Turns out they never sold it, and it seems they looked after it very well for 7½ years....

Also http://ownvehicle.askmid.com shows it as uninsured. It's looking increasingly like it was taken off the road last year and has remained so. Hope she's not been scrapped, that would be beyond sad.
