Easy Jap Parts - Steer Well Clear!!

Post by Marc »

Just had a bad experience with these fools, so i thought I should warn others just in case you get the same enthusiastic first-call back from these guys after a 247spares.co.uk request, as I did.

It seems I'm not the only one who was duped by their friendly telephone nature...

Sorry to hear about your and experience mate.

Thanks for the warning though. Maybe stick them on 'Named and Shamed' on MR2oc?

Good idea..

[goes in hunt of Named & Shamed]..

Incidentally, I phoned them this morning, had a bit of a rant and they've agreed to refund me. But surely they must get this all the time judging by the other forum! You'd think they'd clean up their act a bit.. :?

funny same thing happened to me with my driveshaft.

first they didnt send for 5 days, then they sent one from an na, then they didnt send nothing. refunded my money when i threatened to kick their heads in. they later sent the courier to pick up the driveshaft.

all in all, a waste of time completely. will never use them again...... ever!

Another warning to people - don't use Easy Jap Parts!

I originally ordered a steering knuckle from them at the start of July.
The part arrived a few days later but was for the rear of the car, not the front.
I phoned and was told a new one would be sent out. This one arrived a few days later but was for the passenger side rather than the drivers side.
I phoned to complain and say I wanted my money back and was told 'we can deliver the wrong part to you until we get it right, even if it's the wrong part 10 times, as you've entered into a contract with us'.
I lost my rag with them and they agreed to refund me the money but only if I paid to courier the part back myself!! By this point I was so fed up with ringing/trying to get through/trying to talk to the relevant person, I pointed out that if you order a sofa and a chest of drawers is delivered, you wouldn't have to pay for it to be sent back! However this fell on deaf ears and I ended up paying to post the part back.
It was signed for on the 24th July and I'm still waiting for my refund - so just a word of warning to anyone even considering using them - DON'T!

Yeah I know that place. They're based near Selly Oak in Birmingham. It's not exactly the best setup there. Once went to have a look at a turbo they had for sale and it looked like a dog.
