Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Help! Ignition is staying on! :(
Do you think that could stop the drain? Hopefully that is the only thing that would be drawing power with the ignition left on? No, not changed anything since I bough the car about 6 months ago now, it has been fine up to recently. So not sure what's changed, probably a loose connection or something...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New Bat Needed (how to deal with ever increasing power demands?)
Found out it was the ignition is staying on, the green light around the green circle around the ignition stays on all of the time, whilst driving and after the car is not running, locked and alarm armed. I check the bat negative with a multimeter and it was reading between 6 and 11 volts showing som...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Help! Ignition is staying on! :(

After my bat started draining over night, I have been trying to figure out what has been draining my bat and finally found it is because the ignition is staying on since the green circle around the ignition stays on all of the time, whilst driving and after the car is not...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New Bat Needed (how to deal with ever increasing power demands?)
Ok, fair enough that makes sense now, thanks for the explanation. So basically the alternator puts out enough juice, its just not all getting to the bat so is not as efficient as it could be with thicker wires yeah? Its handy you being Exeter based too, maybe if your around we could meet up sometime...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New Bat Needed (how to deal with ever increasing power demands?)
Ok, thanks, so just running better cable will solve my problems? I would have thought you would need a bigger alternator and battery too though? Say if current setup generates x when driving but the draw is x + 50, then with bigger cables or not, your still into a negative surely? Also, I have had t...

[Mk2] [Turbo] How do you change the headlamp bulbs?
My bulbs blew last night after jumping the car due to a flat bat. Not sure why that would happen though? Never happened to me before. It was the Xeon/HID bulbs, know where I can get some? I found some on ebay but dont know if they fit or are the right ones for a 2? What should I be looking for? Obvi...

Not sure I like the extra light blue by the interval lines on the visual performance dials though, any more designs I could see?
