Hi again everyone,

Decided today that the project mr2 is now going to be broken and scrapped

the underside is in such a bad way and way too much work.

im in southampton if any of you need parts

After a lot of thought im afraid that im not going to continue with the project mr2.

its a shame but job loss etc makes it impossible for me at the moment.

I've cut out all the grot i can see, inner arch has been done too.

got the other side to sort now.

lol yeah, there is weld under there also.

i might of got a bit carried away with the filler.

Been out over the weekend and had a little go at the rust.

needs a bit more sanding etc but it's better than it was

Well,not much has happened on the car because it has been raining for ages, today at last i have managed to get outside, and fit the new fuel pump. bit of a bu88er of a job getting the tank back in, but now the engine runs.. sounds quite good too, no rattles or knocks. But now its raining again so h...

guess im going back to school !

yeah, im going to get some fibreglass wings one the finances allow.

there are some rust holes in the front inner arch, by the pedals i imagine.

And so the welding has begun... After digging around in the rear of the sills (see pic) it was quite bad. started to have me doubts about this as im not a expert welder, and there is a lot to do :( Then the welder runs out of wire Anywho repaired the inner sill, and going to order some repair panels...
