ah - interesting.
I was on the m25. needle banged right up to red after 5 miles of heavy traffic... and then pulled over... wouldn't stay cool.. so ended up getting recovered. Steam pouring out the engine cover - and the coolant bucket was steaming like anything.
any thoughts?
I need a hose as mine has split.
its the one that goes between the coolant bottle and the other bit on the left hand side of the engine. It looks like it goes into a t-connector?
Does this make sense to anyone? help"?
yeah - do hope so. I was really pleased because didn't have mot when i bought it - though it looked in pretty good nick. Now I'll be able to get an MOT and tax it!! yay!
Took the blue MR2 for an MOT - just needed a little bit of welding on both rear sills (picking up tomorrow), then quick trip to get the MOT certificate.
The garage said it was in amazing condition!
So... this is the result.... http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc505/Phil_Bradburn/9dd79a95.jpg Fitted new tyres with a lovely tread pattern. http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc505/Phil_Bradburn/bb262544.jpg Totally cleans the car up. http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc505/Phil_Bradburn/a17c...

Anyone know of any breakers who have lots of MR2 bits and pieces?
When I got the Scooby I used to go to a place in Norfolk which was full to the brim with nice bits and pieces.
I realise the MR2 is a little older - but does anyone know? Or is it a case of keeping an eye on ebay and the forum?
