Hose coolant. Help?

Post by pbradburn »

I need a hose as mine has split.

its the one that goes between the coolant bottle and the other bit on the left hand side of the engine. It looks like it goes into a t-connector?

Does this make sense to anyone? help"?

You don't actually need that hose for anything, it's purpose is pretty much nil and only used for bleeding, it won't affect the cooling system at all wether it is there or not.

ah - interesting.

I was on the m25. needle banged right up to red after 5 miles of heavy traffic... and then pulled over... wouldn't stay cool.. so ended up getting recovered. Steam pouring out the engine cover - and the coolant bucket was steaming like anything.

any thoughts?
