It's a collection of pictures from the last couple of months, an I've PhotoShoped them in the past to disguise the reg to avoid the reg being cloned.

BARGAIN PRICE!! - Mk2 Rev3 NA T-Bar in stunning condition, very nicely moddified
I want this sold pretty quickly to pursue another project, hence the nigh on give away price of only £1950ono   So the car: 1995 Toyota MR-2 T-bar 2.0GTi 16v, (UK car) 136,000 miles (don't be put off by this though, it really drives and handles very well indeed!) 12 months MOT (expires...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Differences between REV3 and REV4 NA engines??
So basically a UK REV3 and a JDM REV 4 are exactly the same. The only difference I can think of then would be the speed limiter on the JDM ECU. Cheers :thumleft: The UK rev 3 ECU is pin compatible - we swap them into G-Limited based race cars to remove the speed limiter - so you can leave your UK E...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Differences between REV3 and REV4 NA engines??
Revision 3 and 4 JDM, and revision 3 UK engines are the same. Revision 4 and 5 UK engines have exhaust gas recirculation and so lose ~4bhp, and also have transponder coded ECUs and slightly different wiring looms. JDM revision 5 engines are BEAMS VVTi engines, and very different! So basically a UK ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Differences between REV3 and REV4 NA engines??
I can't see any differences between the REV3 and 4 regarding the ACIS, I'm going to be putting the whole inlet manifold/ACIS from my REV3 onto the REV4 anyway.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Differences between REV3 and REV4 NA engines??
Yeah I thought they looked identical.

I guess the emission control and lower power is in the ECU map rather than anything mechanical.

i have the REV4 ECU, but I plan on running the REV3 one.

I've just taken this picture of the intake side of the head on my spare engine.
As you can see the ITB's should bolt up pretty easily:thumleft:

[Mk2] [NA] Differences between REV3 and REV4 NA engines??
Does anyone know the differences between the REV3 and REV4 NA engines. My car is a UK REV3 but I have a low mileage Japanese spec REV4 engine and gearbox. I plan on stripping the newer engine, replacing all the seals etc and repainting the block etc to make it all look nice. I'm going to used all th...

Time to revist this thread now I have these:thumleft: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v189/jerem_rsv_uk24/IMAG0228.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v189/jerem_rsv_uk24/DSCN0367.jpg They are from a Pulsar GTiR, so for an SR20, but the ports match the 3S-GE head very closely. I like those RS2000 skirts, suit the lines of the car.
How much chopping about did they need to fit?
