Removeing the small silencer from the exhaust system!!!

Post by Tiger Magnet »

Hi guys

Thinking of removing the small silencer from my exhaust system to make the car sound a bit more sporty. I have already removed the resinator from the air intake system which has made a nice deeper sounding difference when accelerating. Just want it a fraction louder as is too quiet at the moment. Would fitting in a straight through pipe instead of the small silencer be ok??

Most aftermarket stainless exhausts do away with this silencer anyway so it'll be fine. Personally though I'd just get a Mongex (or a Janspeed if you want something a little more raucous) and be done with it rather than mucking about with the stock system.
