Re: AE86 NA to GZE swap

Paul, I have lots of spares left over from my GZE to GTE swap - brackets, pipework, flywheel etc. If you are missing anything give me a shout.

Re: Possible Low Boost Turbo 4AGE Project

Overly long runners on that manifold really, especially for the application. I guess a rams-horn style manifold is out of the question with the firewall so close, but really it should be possible to have a much 'stubbier' manifold and enable a conventional gravity oil drain. The smaller the engine ...

Re: Possible Low Boost Turbo 4AGE Project

Alex, the manifold you have is Toni's old one, which she sold to me, and I fitted to my 4agte temporarily before discovering that the flange connecting to the head was warped and needed to be machined flat again. I then used another manifold instead and sold the manifold on to the chap you bought it...

That's one of the best looking MK1's I've seen! 8) I like this guy :thumleft: Actually, the camera is very kind to the car, it has various rust spots coming through, especially on the rear arches (surprise!), and the side skirts obviously need to go back on - oh, and the front splitter needs some a...

Late spec 'smallport' ae92 4agze block running aw11 supercharger electronics, ecu and injectors fitted with a Garrett T25 turbocharger.

In its current form it is set at 10psi on the wastegate, but i will be aiming for 1 bar.

Re: 4agte Mk1b Turbo - Coming out of Retirement

Many have tried and many have failed. Sadly I think carbon parts are just too expensive for most people.

Also, the supplier that made mine up for me is no longer making car parts - you could try getting one from the states, but i dont know what the quality will be like.

4agte Mk1b Turbo - Coming out of Retirement

Well, after a near 4 year hiatus - what with finishing uni, buying a flat, renovating said flat and 2 career changes, I finally got round to dragging Woody out of the garage. Im determined to make it to JAE this year. Gave him a bit of a clean, fitted carbon bonnet and headlight covers and connected...

Re: 4AGZE alternator & starter compatible with 4AGE?

Starter mounts on the other side of the gearbox, so if you have a c52 double humped gearbox bellhousing you can make it fit - but you will need to modify or make your own flywheel guard/cover. Also you will need to modify the loom to extend the starter cables to the inlet side of the engine. Alterna...

Re: Indicators without front bumper bar

I drove without a bumper bar at all on my track car.

Just buy some doublesided foam sealant stuff and wrap it round the light, then shove it into the plastic moulding. I did this once, and it lasted until i scrapped the car.

You can already buy these for about 120 quid. All good if you want to make your own, but if you want to save some time just google carbon aw11 :thumleft:
