Best 185/60 Tyres for teardrops

Need to replace my tyres on standard tear drop wheel's. Does anyone have any brand recommendations? Wet weather performance no too important as I isn't driven in the wet. Currently using Dunlop sp sports which have been fine but doubt they are still around.

Thanks

Trying to find Oem stock springs

Hi I am trying to rebuild my suspension to stock, done the lowered adjustable koni route and frankly the car just isn't the same. Low speed and poor surface road ride quality is bad and their either too hard or just bouncy and floaty. Plus it's now too low to park on my sloped drive. I am aware it's...

Re: bad vibes after koni kit and poly bushes

adj koni not turning

Earlier tried to change the adjustable koni settings and noticed that the left front wont turn more that 3/4 of a turn compared to rights 2.5 turns seems to just stop there like its at the end. Been on about a year and was turning fine up till now. Do they seize up? and is worth trying to use someth...

Re: bad vibes after koni kit and poly bushes

thanks for everyones help/suggestions. I guess having had the car for over ten years ive got used to what I like about it and felt Mr T got a good balance to start with. Think will look at keeping the poly bushes in places where it helps like roll bars etc and look to swap the others back to standar...

Re: bad vibes after koni kit and poly bushes

Maybe its just me and it has tightened everthing up but on todays crumbling roads crashing and jiggling about over stuff so your driving to avoid things is not really my bag. Perhaps its a combination of the lowered springs or just the bush type but its left me wanting to put it back as it was.

bad vibes after koni kit and poly bushes

Last year I bit the bullet and replaced all the suspension with a koni adjustable damper/spring kit, replaced the all bushes with a full super pro kit, changed drop links and ball joints alround. Ideally I would have liked to have kept the standard suspension but as nothing seems to be available I t...

Wheel nuts

Currently having my wheels (teardrops) refurbished the original nuts are a bit tatty and rusty and think will probably let the wheels down a bit. Are new wheel nuts available anywhere are there also any other options for standard alloys as always felt the original nuts stick out a bit far

Cheers

Re: need help with closest thing to stock suspension

as soon as the front stock shocks were swapped for the kybs ride was noticably harder/crashy and bouncy. Think they are generally known for being harsh on road but really dont like them. I live in a bad area for roads and potholes so ideally like to keep the ride quality as it was. If there are no o...
