Discharge lights at high revs

Hi I am getting the two red dash lights (electrical warning light and the battery discharge light) but only when the car is revved hard about the point when the tvis comes in (its like a slap on the wrist). Doesn't happen at any other point and usually if back off the power goes out after bout a minute. Ive had a recent new alternator from TCB and im pretty sure thats fine and the battery is brand new. Overall its seems to be holding charge and starting fine. There no fan belt squeal but I was wondering if its slipping can it cause a temporary discharge?

hi , i would check the bottom pulley hasn't de-laminated . the outer ring ( what the fan belt runs on ) is rubber bonded on and they do fail and slip under heavy load . take the belt off and see if you can turn the outer pulley by hand .

Its either this, the belt slipping or a problem with the alternator IC regulator.
