Re: Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110's
A mate of mine ran the Hankook RS2's on his evo and loved them too, I hadn't really considered Hankook a
'real' performance tyre manufacturer until then!

But a xxxx tyre is a xxxx tyre at the end of the day.

Again, very true, but nowhere in those reviews does it say they're a xxxx tyre, infact, quite the opposite!

These general reviews are all well and good, but just because they work on one car, doesn't mean they'll work on another!

Re: Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110's
I'm going to be buying these tyres in the exact same size to go on my 8"F 9"R setup that will be going on the 2 next summer, wanted them on this year but money is tight!

Heard good things about these but would also be interested to hear peoples opinions on how they work on the MR2.

[Mk2] [Generic] Microscan Alarm
Hi guys, My MR2 is currently off the road, I came to do some work on it the other day, but the battery was totally dead. I've charged the battery back up but now the alarm doesn't seem to want to disarm. The LED in the remote is still flashing and I know the battery is good. Also, the engine is immo...

xxxx make and sell them in the west midlands I have to say that the blocker on IMOC is a bit childish. Not a lot of interest in this so far, but i've been thinking all night about one thing.

Am I going to get a lot of tramlining with 8" on the front? Maybe be better with a 7?

Thanks to Slipping_Clutch, I'm now a bit closer in my search for these lower brace bars. These are the ones I'm talking about http://www.ultraracing.com.my/vgreenwap/image/Model%20New/Toyota/MR2/Toyota%20MR2%20front%20ARB.JPG Obviously what I'm after is the 2 white bits that aren't the ARB! ht...

[Mk2] [Generic] Wheel Choices - Opinions Please!
Hi Guys, I popped a post up a couple of weeks ago about putting rota torque 9's on the back of my 2, but the more i look at them, the less sure I am about how much I like them. So, the choice now is: 17 x 8+9 Rota Torques (ET 35F, ET 35R) http://www.rotashop.co.uk/watermark1~Rota~images/rota/torque_...

[Mk2] [Generic] Mk2 underbracing?
Are there any mk2 under braces available similar to the ones made for the mk3?

I believe xxxx used to do them, but I cant find anything anywhere! Would love to get one of these to work with my top braces!

Only after a front one if that makes any difference.

[Mk2] [NA] 4-1 vs. 4-2-1 on Rev3 Mk2
Hi everyone,

I believe there were both fitted OEM items available on the Rev 3's? Is there any advantages to have one over the other?

Would the 4-2-1 give better low down grunt than the 4-1?

sounds good! do you need to trim away as much of the dust cover as you did or is it just the lip and where the caliper/adapter will sit?

When you say the rear caliper mounting points need modified to fit the adapters, what does this consist of?

[Mk2] [Generic] Fitting Visual Performance EL Dials?
Hi Guys, One of the bulbs in my instrument cluster has gone, and I thought while I've got it out, I might as well put some white dials in! Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rota Torque Drift on MR2 mk2?
Sounds good but I think track day tyres might be a bit much for what I want, is their performance in the wet up to normal road tyres? Hopefully contact wont be an issue, but if it is, I'm guessing I'd just need to space the wheels a few mm? Sorry about all the questions, this is my first Jap car aft...
