Fair enough, I'll look into offloading mine and see if yours is still for sale then - I've already got two cars so can't quite justify a third!
Do you have any pictures of the underside? Particularly sills and the usual rust traps?
Hi, not been on here in years after I sold my old rev 2 but I can't get rid of the niggling feeling I need another one!
Is this still for sale? and would you be interested in p/x / swap for a boring A4 Avant TDI?
Cheers,
Tom
if you bled the system changing the caliper then you're likely a little short on fluid. If however as you say you've checked the fluid and it's ok then have a look at the handbrake, it also puts the light on during its operation so maybe there's something loose in there? The handbrake put's the 'p'...
Can't remember the name off the top of my head but the old bloke that runs it is called ken, 07776419527. it's a proper old school set up they've got there but the welding was top notch, quick turnaround and cheap enough too
glad to hear it. turns out i've got a fair bit of play in the window when the door's open so i reckon i'll need to sort the window runners themselves before trying this Is the play in/out or up/down? It was in/out and the window didn't seat properly on the seal up the b-pillar. took the door card o...

It won't work without extensive modification to the chassis :( could i asky why? surely the manual rack will take up the same amount of space / use the same mounting points? Since the power steering is up front and the engine's in the middle that would be a pretty long belt! The MR2 is equipped wit...
My PAS rack isn't a happy bunny at the moment and it feels like i don't have any power steering at all. i don't actually know how light the PAS is in an mr2 when it's working properly, but i prefer not having it if i'm honest! If i was to swap to a manual rack, would i need a different UJ/steering c...
Try an M11 bolt? that'll have an 11mm diameter but i couldn't tell you the pitch depth off the top of my head. Halfords sell packs of assorted bolts etc that should have M10, M11, M12 etc and one could fit perfectly
Fitted a set of TEINs to my rev2 NA the other day but the original droplinks look way too long to fit with the new setup as the mounting point sits much lower on the strut body.
is there an easy (cheap) way round this? i.e. shortened/adjustable droplinks? and where can i get them from?
cheers lads, don't think i've ever had so much trouble getting something so simple off an engine! i got a gasket kit from eurocarparts seeing as i've got a mate who works there and i get preferential prices  one more question - what are the torque specs for the rocker cover bolts? they have wha...
Think I'll get the hammer out then for some gentle persuasion! It moves a couple of millimetres but no more than that which made me think there could be something else attached somewhere, I didn't want to break anything without asking first in case it was something simple. Thanks for your help mate....
yep that's the one! i need to remove the bit that says toyota on it. i've removed the bolts you can see on the far side of the engine and the brackets on the nearside (in the photo) along with the throttle body but it's still not moving!
i can do tonight, not near the car just now. basically it's the part of the intake system that sits right on top of the rocker cover. looks like it should be simple to remove but it's being a stubborn little sod
