Re: [Mk2] [Generic] BC Racing + Whiteline adjustable ARB at stiff setting

I've already contacted BC Racing UK and I'm waiting for a response, in the meanwhile I'm checking if someone had this issue before and how they solved it. Let me correct the first post, I've said that the droplink was in the outer hole since the beginning but that's wrong. I've used the droplink in ...

[Mk2] [Generic] BC Racing + Whiteline adjustable ARB at stiff setting

Hi all! In May 2010 I bought BC-Racing coilovers with the following specifications: BR Series Coilover : Type RA. Chassis/Engine : SW20/21. BC Racing SKU : C-12 Front Coilovers : Camber pillowball Top Mount (upgraded). I've instaled the coilovers at the same time with Whiteline adjustable ARB at the...

Re: 16" wheel picture requests

If you are unsure, don't buy! Only if it's a bargain!

Recently I bought a set of wheels here at IMOC.co.uk and the wheels were listed as staggered setup, perfect fit MR2, but came with no stickers.
At the end they have the same offset and widths, and no staggered setup.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rev2+ caster adjustment

I want to try :)
Is the only thing that I can't adjust, so why not?

Also I have a slight difference between left and right wheel, so with adjustable caster I can fix that.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rev2+ caster adjustment

You could put post in items wanted forum? Posted @ wanted forum. It's not even for the comfort, but more for low cost and maintenance. Regarding the suspension I already have the following parts: - BC Racing Coilovers, pillowball top mounts, front camber; - Rear camber bolts; - Whiteline F/R ARBs; ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rev2+ caster adjustment

What should you do if you want to adjust caster? Lengthen/shorten the bar using the castor adjusting nuts on the end of the rod. But surely you know that already? :? I wrote that phrase with a meaning of: What path would you take if it's with you? I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, but English isn...

[Mk2] [Generic] Rev2+ caster adjustment

Long to short: In Rev1 is possible to adjust caster whithout modifications, but in Rev2 don't. In a Rev2 is cost efective/better install the Rev1 tension rods with polybushes, or go all the way to Tein/Cusco pillowball tension rods? What's are the differences? If I use the Rev1 parts, how much adjus...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Brake pedal feels soft after brake overhaul

Couple of thoughts from my experience with these brakes: 1, Did you wind the rear pistons in all the way then out by 180 degrees to set the handbrake mechanism correctly? I assume you set the rear pads up correctly and aligned the pins on the pads with the grooves on the pistons. 2, Check the brake...

[Mk2] [NA] Brake pedal feels soft after brake overhaul

The brake pedal on my 1993 MR2 Rev2 seems to travel too far before you get any decent stopping power from it. Brakes work fine but they don't appear to engage as quick as I would like. The pedal feels soft for quite a bit before the brakes bite properly but once you push the pedal down far enough th...

[Mk2] [NA] S54 gear box shorter finaldrive and LSD

Hi,

I'm searching for a shorter ratio final drive to the S54 gear box as in my opinion the ratios are to long for the near stock 3S-GE.

What final drives are compatible with the gearbox?
Also, if I fit a LSD will that change the final drive ratios?
Whats the best LSD? Quaife? Kaaz?

Thanks!

The Moroso sump can be installed in Rev1/2 3S-GE?
Or only fits 3S-GTE?

Re: Silacone hose set

You can check Samco hoses.
They have a kit with 11 hoses, but they don't supply the two front radiator hoses, and one engine bay hose.
So you need to buy these hoses from ebay, or check with Samco if they can supply.
