This is a feeler for people that have the LHD MR2 SW20 with power steering.

I have been contacted about producing a quick steer pinion for the LHD SW20 with power steering. So if you would like to have a group buy started or know of someone who would be interested, please let me know here.

This product will not work on a non-powered steering system.

The quick steer upgrade reduces the steering turns to about 2.7 revolutions lock to lock.

There would need to be a group buy for these lhd versions to be produced at a reasonable price.

The lhd quick steer I had, was sold to a guy in America a few weeks ago.

If you know of other MR2 owners wanting a group buy for the lhd quick steer pinion upgrade, then direct them here and I will see what I can do.

These are some of the rhd versions that I have had produced. The lhd version would have the helical thread in the opposite direction.

Interested as well. Had one of these but sold my two before I could install/play with it. Looking to get another one as I've got another two on the way. I can start a thread over on mr2oc to gauge interest.

Just to let you guys know, there are two versions for the rhd MR2. It looks like Toyota changed the design around 1993 when the revision three came out. I have no idea if this change was made at the same time for the lhd MR2. So it would be a good idea to state which revision MR2 you have.

1990-1993-early= rev 1 & 2 : Type A pinion.

Late 1993-1999= rev 3,4 & 5 : Type B pinion.
