I had a look on the internet and it was an American site that said about doing the loose nut thing, suprise suprise - needless to say.......it failed :lol:

Driving it slowly round the back of the house well out of the way of anyone/thing turning the wheel to the left, then right trying to loosen it a bit. The nuts were put on loosely so the wheel didnt come flying off! i'm literally trying everything to get this thing off as i've been trying for the la...

Spare wheel won't come off

](*,) ](*,) ](*,) I put the spare wheel on my mr2 last night and now i can't get the b*stard off Wheel nuts are off, but rather than it just falling off, the wheel seems to of welded itself on! I've tried shaking it, hitting it, spraying it with wd40, driving it and swearing at it, but it won't come...

I bought my mr2 as a total loss (aka light rear bump) for £500 from a local salvage yard as a summer restoration project. Just look round the salvage yards near you, something might come up :) The two i looked on were www.hbc.co.uk and www.nsec.co.uk as they both have auction sites but i bought mine...
