Mine's a bit creaky. Considering a Rev1 is at least 13 years old, it can't be that bad. However, I suspect you're talking about performance rather than longevity :) If that's the case I haven't really got a clue. But an upgrade is probably a good idea because if stuff needs replacing due to age, you...

But there's a lot to also be said from learning about one another's experiences with the different Mk's of MR2 - eg frozen handbrake problems common on Mk1s also applies to Mk2s ... Definately agree with that. A lot of queries are very general that could be answered by knowledgable MK1, Mk2 and Mk3...
