My first MR2, a MK1!!

Hi There just thought i'd say hello,I turned 21 end of last year and started saving, i'm still at uni so took me a while but got £1500 and just over a month ago bought my first MR2. Full service history, 99k mot & tax, all the extras etc...

and i love this car, always had nova's before but this is just amazing.

Hell of a step up from a Nova.....had two myself many moons ago.

My arches require small prep work too....I also paid 1500 notes but had only done 67.5k when i bought it.

there are some bargains out there....it's pot luck what price you come across.....some wanna rip you off...some people sell real bargains.

JAE is gonna have a great mk1 selection on view this year.

I got it from where i live, leicester. It actually use to belong to my girlfriends mum. She had it for 2 and a half years and only done 3k in it. Was on sorn for the last 6 months. Went straight through its mot. The arches are so good because they were replaced in 2002 and the cars been garaged its whole life. Ive got quite a few plans for it but will be keeping it looking completely original, the way it should be.

Its nice to find other mk1 owners for advice

Yup thats my old nova, had alot of good times and loved the nova until i drove it again after a week of having the MR2. Will neva go back, mid-engine, rear wheel drive rules
