Hi There just thought i'd say hello,I turned 21 end of last year and started saving, i'm still at uni so took me a while but got £1500 and just over a month ago bought my first MR2. Full service history, 99k mot & tax, all the extras etc...

and i love this car, always had nova's before but this is just amazing.

Hell of a step up from a Nova.....had two myself many moons ago. :lol:

Yeah what those guys said! looks really nice!!! mine cost me 1500 and i didnt get arches as nice as those! =D>

My arches require small prep work too....I also paid 1500 notes but had only done 67.5k when i bought it. :P
there are some bargains out there....it's pot luck what price you come across.....some wanna rip you off...some people sell real bargains.

JAE is gonna have a great mk1 selection on view this year. :D

I got it from where i live, leicester. It actually use to belong to my girlfriends mum. She had it for 2 and a half years and only done 3k in it. Was on sorn for the last 6 months. Went straight through its mot. The arches are so good because they were replaced in 2002 and the cars been garaged its whole life. Ive got quite a few plans for it but will be keeping it looking completely original, the way it should be.

Its nice to find other mk1 owners for advice :D

Yup thats my old nova, had alot of good times and loved the nova until i drove it again after a week of having the MR2. Will neva go back, mid-engine, rear wheel drive rules :D
