It's purrs in the right place then roars when you want it to :D Thanks for the positive comments, everyone. I'm looking at getting Rev3 or possibly the Rev 6 lights. I'm still undecided though. Hi folks, finally got round to taking some pics of my motor. Had it for a few years, but managed to get a kit fitted, full repsray etc. Not seen many with this kind of kit combination but I think it goes well. Just happy I've got a black car now, rather than grey :D Final tally: Veilside front bumpe...

Re: rear grill and towing hook removal !
Grill - bend or remove Towing eyes, I'd leave them on. You'll never know when ya might need them! I went mad with my dremmel and took the grill off that way. Will try and get some photos when I pick my car up from the bodyshop on Friday. If you remove it, don't forget to get yourself a decent buffe...

That's what I thought as well!
Still, I guess the owner of the car is happy with his funky exhaust...isn't he?
Doesn't look any better from the front:

I thought the reverse lights weren't checked for an MOT, or is it a case of 'if they're fitted they have to be working and clear'?

Re: Adhesives and fillers...
Just about to fit a set of veilside sideskirts and a veilside spoiler (copies) to my rev 1. I don't particularly want to drill into my sills, and would rather stick them on where I can. What adhesive is good for this? I also need to remove my rev1 spoiler to be replaced with the veilside and know t...

Re: Where to buy bodykit
Has anybody bought the veilside style body kit or other bodykit from KanKonline.co.uk. If so what was the quality like and how much work was required to get it to fit. Cheers Ed On the old imoc forum someone did, and seemed reasonably happy with it. Ah - just found the google cache - here you go: h...

Replacement wheel nuts
I bought new alloys but kept the original Mk2 nuts. Their profile is a bit too long for the alloys - where's the best place to get replacement wheel nuts that have a lower profile?
I can find dozens of online stores selling alloys but none that admit to selling nuts

Re: Easter Nurburgring Visit - lots of MR2 Photos
My mate noticed a few MR2s on the circuit. Unfortunately he didn't get many pics of them. You can see a bit of a white '2 parked up but that's pretty much it. He was in the ring hotel so took advantage of the car park access to grab a few pics :-) I heard the GP circuit was open to the public for th...

Re: IMOC Nürburgring Trip, Germany : 8-11th July 2005
Insurance - an interesting one. Basically the 'ring is a scenic one way toll road through the Eiffel countryside. As such, all the normal German road traffic rules apply. You'd expect that, wouldn't you :) His European recovery insurance has explicitly ruled out the Ring by name though. Saying he's...

A mate's going over in his 350Z this weekend. Can anyone recommend anywhere that will provide car insurance on the track? His insurance for recovery around Europe specifically rules out the ring.

Re: My Turbo Convesion...what mods to go for?
technically this is wrong As the mot goes on the age of the engine and not the car. Because if you have a 1998 car but fit a 1990 engine you can pass an mot as long as you can prove that its an older engine.. Technically, this is wrong. The MOT test is actually based on whichever of the two ...
