Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] idle and stalling
Mine did the exact same thing, was thinking BOV was on it's way out whereas in fact it was simply down to a dirty ISCV

Re: Engine 'n Parts ltd
It was more of a general question as to the standard of their products
/ work, the car in question is a honda civic.
He's opted to have the problem fixed now anyway
- thanks for the reply
!

[Mk2] [Turbo] stuttering on cruise
As per the title, I found one of the vacuum hoses attched to the side of the tiny in line filter
(next to the BOV) dangling, anyone else had this
?
Is it worth cleaning the filter
?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New suspension fitted
They\'re installed correctly if using the ground edge of the spring as a reference, however this means the more tightly wound part of the spring is opposite front to back.

If you look at a picture of the springs
(APEX) you\'ll see what I mean.

Cheers.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New suspension fitted
I asked this because the springs coils are clanking on certain bumps, I\'ve since found out however that this appears to be normal and they will supply a sleeve to fit around the spring if you suffer this problem.

[Mk2] [Turbo] New suspension fitted
I\'ve just finished fitting new suspension all round, the APEX springs I fitted have the coils more tightly wound at the bottom for the rears and vice versa for the front
- does this sound right
?
( The ground flat edge of the spring sits towards the top of the strut in both cases)

jolting / knocking on full lock
Just to resurrect this thread, I have exactly the same symptoms. It started happening after changing my hubs over (car on axle stands for a couple of months). Since then I've changed the steering rack / top mounts / droplinks and ball joints - still to no avail. If anybody has any ideas please post ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New wheel bearings gone in all to willy
Thats what I thought, if you look in the bgb it shows a lip inside the steering knuckle where the bearing stops, if the shiny part is the bearing then they've managed to push it through the lip !! I wanted some who does this for a living (peter gidden / rogue etc) to tell me that is the case and the...
