Re: Lovely drive the other day
I didnt feel that bad at first cause mine's a 1990 and I thought those new golfs were about 150hp, but I just checked parkers and they're only 138
Maybe its time for a fresh set of plugs and a timing check.

Re: Apexi Power FC
The FC I helped map, the check engine light flashing def. meant either hitting 100% injector duty or exessive knock. One was a slow flash, one was a rapid flash, can;t remember which way round it was sorry :) If you google around you should be able to find some manuals... I don't *think* the FC has ...

Re: Cheap Drop Links
That's very interesting, 20 squid is a hell of a lot less than 70! I talked to someone that reconns steering boxes etc. about them a while ago and the best they could source them for was not a lot less than Mr T... but he also said it might be possible to re-grease them and nip them in a vice to tak...

Re: A small list of problems
The bulbs... if yours is an early rev like mine, you need to do use a flat screwdriver or similar to (carefully!) pry out the orange bit furthest round the sides, that sticks out a little bit. Under there is a screw you'l need to remove to get the whole light cluster out, which will then allow you t...
