Brake stuck on

i havent driven my car for 2 weeks, until this morning and the rear left break is stuck on. There is no handbrake light on though. I know nothing about brakes, is this an easy repair for myself. Im more worried about putting it back together. Obviously i cant drive it any where as i tried this morning and smoke was pouring off the brakes

That normally happens when it's below freezing, and there's water in the cables - if that's it then a couple of new cables should sort it!

yeah. Sorted now thanks to mark edwards. 2 new cables needed, going on tomorrow.
