[Mk2] [Turbo] Manual boost controller and FCD help
Can anyone point me in the direction of instructions for fitting a gtschris style manual boost controller? Also instructions for fitting a 3 wire adjustable fuel cut defender? I bought both these items off someone on here a couple of years ago and may have received instructions at the time but i can...

Re: 1994 Black Rev3 GT T-Bar Turbo £1000 - MUST GO!
Thanks for everyone who's been in touch but i'm going to hold off selling the car for the time being. Having heard about this scheme that the government is considering introducing in the budget in april where you can recycle your old car and get £2000 from them to spend on a nearly new car... But if...

Re: 1994 Black Rev3 GT T-Bar Turbo £1000 - MUST GO!
Thanks for your offer was hoping for a bit more than that, bearing in mind that: 1) front discs, pads and drop links are only 2 weeks old 2) blueflame exhaust is only 1 year old 3) GTS digital boost gauge is 6 months old 4) Stainless manifold and downpipe both 6 months old and worth over £100 5) I s...

Imho if you're worrying about the amount of petrol you're using in this day and age then it's time to get rid of the MR2 and get something else!

1994 Black Rev3 GT T-Bar Turbo £1000 - MUST GO!
I'm putting up for sale my L-reg Black Rev 3 GT T-bar turbo. *EDIT* The car has packed up - i think the turbo has gone, engine runs but rattles. I've spent too much on fixing this car already so i just want to get rid, so it's being sold either for parts or for someone else to fix up! Two weeks ago ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Damaged turbo any value?
I've got a damaged turbo from my knackered engine, is it of any value to anyone, or should i just chuck it?
The rotor in the middle spins freely, but on one side a couple of the fins have broken off.
.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Just changed my thermostat and had to tell someone!
just to let you know tho, it is 100000000 times easier to do this on a rev3+ engine than a rev2!!! dipstick bolt is easier to get to, as well as the lower thermostat housing bolt! on a rev1/2 it is a BLOOMING nightmare... Thanks for pi$$ing on my chips and telling me how easy it was hehe. Am glad t...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Just changed my thermostat and had to tell someone!
As the title really, i'm not the most technical person on the planet, but having diagnosed (via the forum of course) that my thermostat wasn't working properly i've this morning replaced the thermostat and bled the coolant. My problem was that the car was taking an age to get up to temperature, some...

Re: [All] [Generic] A Policeman Is Your Friend - NOT!!!
Similar situation to having tinted windows, i got stopped last year and fined £30 and told i should get the tints removed (they're not *really* dark!!!). I left them though, if you like you can see the £30 as a charge for having tinted windows, or an altered num plate! James HaHaHaHa, worth it IMO ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Engine slow to heat up? Or dodgy temperature gauge?
I've had all my engine work done now and got a stainless tubular exhaust manifold and downpipe. I've noticed that it now seems to take *ages* for the temp gauge in the car to get up to half way (i.e half an hour down a motorway and it's still pretty close to the bottom). Left longer it does eventual...

So maybe the car has had a delimiter fitted in the past and had it removed again before i got it?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What does this wire do???
Well i think this may stay a mystery
- the wire does seem to go to the speedo, having connected it back up i've noticed no difference whatsoever!

Very strange!
