[Mk2] [Turbo] can anyone tell be what this is that's broken?

Post by chase303 »

Hi all,

I have just found a broken "valve"
Can anyone answer any of these?
What it is, what it does, where I can get one?

It looks like the previous owner has glued this before, but obviously it isn't fixed.

Thanks in advance, I appreciate any help...

I had to do one 2 weeks ago the difference after though was noticeable Crisper Dump and a bit of an improvement on my mpg.

Think someone mentioned that you can buy something similar from a pet store for fish tanks, just a one way valve, might be getting mixed up with something else though.

When you say it makes a difference, are you talking about between not having one and having one or having a broken one and a working one?

Its not as simple as a simple NRV one way its high flow one way is very restrictive.

I sort of guessed a one-way valve would do the biz. I've got them on my fish tanks air pumps.

But I thought I'd better give Toyota a bit more of my hard earned money..
