It's a microsoft one that came with the hd drive. There's nothing in the instructions to say it even need's to be connected. I'm stumped.

So it's not just me then. The plot thickens! Tell me, when you use yours does the infra red bit on the front light up or not? Mine doesn't. The sony fan boys won't like this but i swear the hd dvd picture is better than bluray. Could just be the films i've been watching to be fair.

Not sure about this remote thing mate. Pistol and I tried it earlier when you messaged me. Nothing in the instructions as you say... :? Should just work straight out the box. :-k All the others do.

Silly point maybe, but you've not got anything in the way of the infra red receiver bit on the 360 itself, have you? Leads, pad, game box... Anything like that will stop it working.

Other than that, if it's brand new out of the box, then it's possible you've got a duff infra red module on the console itself. Anyone nearby with a 360 you can test your remote on?

Didn't think you could set the 360 remote to work with different tellies a la All In One...

This one you can. It says hold tv and ok down to automatically find codes but that didn't work. There's a manual way of doing it but i need to enter a code. As usual it neglects to tell you the codes.

You blatantly haven't even bothered to search for the codes, have you? A Google for '360 remote codes' leads you here.

There's 19 codes for panasonic lol. I didn't look on google. Imo it should be in the book with the remote.

Did it and it all works fine now. Thank's for that. Makes watching dvd's alot easier. Is it just me or do all dvd's go back to the beginning if you turn them off? Using the hd drive.

it did when they first came out but i think they added the feature so it remembers where you were in one of the updates.

got me doubting that now tho....
