Bristol 14th June - Rolling Road session

Post by Bender Unit »

Yup thats this weekend coming.

There is a rolling road session going on at Castle Coombe motors which is right next door to the racing circuit. Assorted machinery going on the rollers including a few AE86's.

Anyone is welcome to join in if they want to get their car tested. IIRC the price is £35 for a few dyno pulls.

Drop me a PM or add your name if your interested in attending.

Cheers

I'd be interested in that as it's really close by for me. I have a pretty busy weekend booked already though - what time are you guys kicking off? I can get there early if it's first come first served. :thumleft:

Hi Nick,

Yup first come first served basis or there about I am sure you can jostle for position. ;)

Will add your name to the list and state you want an early slot. Me and my mate dave need to get done early as we need to shoot off and start messing with alignment settings on my poo corolla.

Here is what the organiser posted earlier...

***UPDATE***

Please can everybody ensure they are at castle combe early i.e between 9am-10am at latest please, as I don't want paul loitering around waiting for cars to turn up when he could be having Saturday at home!

As we are looking at small numbers (10 cars) it's important not to turn up late!

Postcode is SN14 7HB.

Paul wants to run in groups of RWD, 4WD and FWD to save time. Not necesarilly in that order! I believe we only have one FWD anyway!

Price is confirmed at £35 per run. Optional £5 additional for AFR and another £5 for boost if required! as mentioned in my first post.

You will get 2 runs while on the dyno for your money by the way!

Please make sure your cars are in good working order, nobody wants oil and water all over the dyno (been there done that, renault 5's for ya)

If your car blows up on the dyno the garage won't be held responsible - I'm sure you all understand that anyway!
