New pics of my turbo

Post by dawolf »

Thought I'd take some pics after having my front bumper and passenger wing resprayed. Gave it a good clean then used turtlewax polish all over and I have to say it's come up really well. I find it makes a big difference using black gel on the tyres too. Comments welcome.

Thats v v nice mate, really good job by the looks of it but you want to do something with that front no. plate. Landscape and lower.
Still, thats a very good looking car. :thumleft:

Looks like they've done you a great job mate - you must be relieved. She looks very tidy now. Rob Shipp has a point re the number plate. I love the look of a small landscape plate hidden in the recess below where your plate sits now. That would suit your car nicely as its been kept standard.

Also are you going to get rid of the toblerones? I think particularly on a black car clear side repeaters are a very effective little mod. Cheap too!

Mine is going in for two wings, skirts and front bumper spraying in a few weeks and I'm a bit nervous about how well the colour matching will be done. Everyone who's given me a quote has sucked their teeth when they've seen her and said 'Oh it's yellow, toughest colour to match that...' :pale:

I can only hope the job is as good as yours!

Yeah the paint match is spot on and they got a really good finish. Black's not as bad as some other colours. Just make sure the sprayer is well experienced. I've been looking round for clear toblerones but can't find any. The other option is to get them tinted. Not too fussed about changing the number plate.

Any other comments?
