MOT is due on June 13th 2008. I expect it to go straight through its next MOT
Tax runs out end Nov 2008.

This is a very reluctant sale, I have spent lots of time and money getting this car to where it is now. My family situation dictates that I cannot have a 2 seater sports car any more… The sound system is awesome, and the car is packed with features such as steering fogs, and folding mirrors.

There are only a few marks on the body work, as you would expect from a 15 year old car. The front splitter has two cuts where I tangled with a 4 post lift. :( Also the wheels are ready for a refurb. The tyres have a few thousand left in them., yokos front, toyos rear.

I want £5000 for the car. This includes T-bar blinds, bags, tool kit, a new speedo dial and anything else I can find that belongs the car.

I will be out of the country 28th apr to 7th may, so replying to PMs may be slow. Viewings are welcome, the car is in the York area.

Thanks for reading this far. The car will not be advertised elsewhere until I get back from holiday, so this is exclusive to IMOC for now.

Not being funny matey but even reducing her to 5K is still on the steep side. There appears to be a fair bit of bodywork fade if i'm not mistaken or maybe cuz its wet ? Even with the nice ICE and mods but only 1 month's MOT I'd say 4K tops.

I hear what you're saying, and agree that the pictures aren't the best, but I think the value is about right. I have an MOT booked for next week, which will give it 13 months of MOT. The fade isn't as bad as it looks, picture was taken while the car was still wet, and on a mobile fone. When the car has been freshly waxed the colour is pretty good for a 15year old car.

There are alot of good cars being sold too cheap, which has pushed the prices of these cars down too far. Given the spec and potential, (one tuner told me this was one of the quietest MR2s he had ever heard) I think it is worth it.

Not being funny M8 but you will never get £5k for a Rev 3,especially with the paint faded. You can pick up Rev 3s in same sort of condition like yours for around £3k.

None taken, mate! I realise that the price is towards the high end, that's because a: I think its worth it, and b: thats how much I need to get me through my bike test+leathers+bmw 650GS. Also, my business owns the car and that is what its valued at. If it sells for less, I owe the business cash.

I will get some pictures up soon, and should have the MOT on Monday.

Forgot to say, I will incude the sunshades, the cubby box removed from the drivers side, the t-bar bags, all the literature from the ICE and the toolkit.

Sorry but have to agree with others.
The pictures dont help either. Better pictures after a good wash and polish with a good back drop and stick it on Piston heads. It won't sell on here for that price. That is friendly advice not a dig.

you can't sum up the amount of time remaining across multiple MOT certificates.

if that were the case, next time i'll take mine in, i'll ask them to do 5 tests in parallel and i'll be covered for 5 years! game on!

you're covered for 12 months from issue.

YES YOU CAN..... As far as i'm aware you can MOT upto a month before your old one expires and have it carried onto the new one....
Have had it sone in the past.

Thats absolutely right, MOT is issued from the end date of the previous MOT of there is less than a month to run on the current MOT.

Not had the car on the rollers so haven't got a figure, if you know anywhere in the York area that has a RR then I am prepared to get her tested.

would someone like to add up the mods this car has as listed and see what they would be worth on the for sale section .then subtract from what the seller wants for his car. im sorry i dont see a low mileage clean mr2 rev 3 turbo going for 3000. scrappy ones with body work issues, bits missing ,rattles, scrapes air/con not working etc if thats what you want fine.mines pretty much standard but if i couldnt find a buyer to realise its value at 5000 id rather bury it. 1500/2000 surely is not a great amount to pay extra for something special and well kept clean original mr2 turbos are just that.Besides the new owner will end up spending fortunes on his own mods in time.

The car now has an MOT running until 13 June 2009. The only advisory was that the front tyres were worn slightly unevenly.
