[Mk3] [NA] DVD Player Help

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this.

I have a Kenwood ddx6029 stereo in my car and it has a safety feature that you connect the dvd player cable to the handbrake light so the dvd will only play when the handbrake is on.

I am looking to see if anyone can tell me how to bypass this so i can view dvd's whilst on the move. (well not me the passenger)

Yep, its easy. Just earth the wire that you'd normally connect to your handbrake.
